Amoeba Music is an American independent vinyl store chain with locations spread across California; Berkeley, San Francisco, and Hollywood, Los Angeles. Amoeba music stocks music of every kind from popular hits to underground music. It is popular as a music lovers' tourist destination.

 

Amoeba arose in 1990’s out of a community of music lovers that wanted a better place for music than a corporate chain store. The store owns a range of rock and hip-hop, soul, electronica, new and classic jazz, world music, roots music and experimental music. With daily changing stock and an all-star team of  educated music-lovers, Amoeba’s mission is to create a progressive and worthy store of great music.  

The specific product I am advertising is vinyl records sold in Amoeba music of various popular bands. I am advertising the idea of visiting and purchasing records from Amoeba music.

Although California in short is a sufficient location, San Francisco has more of a indie music loving community. The target demographic for this ad will be OLDER music lovers throughout San Fransisco  (ones who can collect or want to continue to collect vinyls and cds).
