PROFILE/DESCRIPTIONIn the boys bathrooms of Albany High School, California, we have boys trashing it. They left wrappers and toilet paper all over the floors. They broke through the fiber glass ceilings and crushed them with their shoes. These kids even managed to destroy all stall doors and break mirrors that should be used for the purpose of privacy and self-reflecting. However, in retaliation to this horrid behavior, the school administration decided to lock the boys' bathrooms, take away all mirrors and stall separators as punishment. This is a problem because not all boys behaved this way, yet still suffer the consequences of those who did.
(BEFORE REVISION): As you can see with my design, I chose to add a dark background with red tape to give an “out of order” vibe for the audience. This element does a good job in emphasizing the restriction the school has put in the bathrooms. I also chose to ask a rhetorical question that the audience must have an answer to in there head, so that they are more receptive to changing their behavior.
(AFTER REVISION): A lot of the class was thinking that because the word “poo” was mentioned, I should replace the urinal picture with a toilet picture. Sadly, it was hard to find an out of order toilet, so I tweaked it and added my own “caution” tape. I kept the same words yet changed them to black so they could be seen with grey-ish background.
