PROFILE/DESCRIPTIONThe company I’m designing advertisements for is Spotify. Spotify is a company that operates as an app for consumers to stream music. It is widely available across the globe and on many types of devices. The specific service/product I’m advertising is Spotify Premium, a version of Spotify that is paid for by the consumer on a monthly basis, which allows users to listen to music without advertisements, download music to listen without wifi, and overall have more freedom on the app. Paid Spotify Premium subscriptions are the company’s main source of revenue. I plan to focus most on the offline music downloads benefit of the app that allows users to “listen anywhere”. Part 2: Provide a zip code for your target market and provide some relevant details about a market segment group that resides there. 94704 -berkeley -tons of bus shelters -tons of college students (Nearly 45% of pop. is people aged 21-34 and around 30% aged 10-20) - Don’t have access to credible demographics but I know Spotify is very popular with younger people. College students likely to already be familiar with Spotify/have Spotify which makes an upgrade to Premium more tempting. Part 3: Just as with your brandmark project, I want you to add some single-word (or short phrase) descriptions to the following prompts> Brand advantages: mobile, unlimited Brand attributes: popular, variety of options, intuitive Brand experience: In-control, familiar
GOALSAfter people see the Spotify Premium ads I create, the goal is for them to remember the main idea of the ad, which is that if they get Spotify Premium, they can “listen anywhere”. Ideally, this memory would lead them to subscribe to Spotify Premium.
