PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

The brand I am advertising for is sanrio. Sanrio is a brand that was founded in Japan by  Shintaro Tsuji as the Yamanashi Silk Company in 1960. It creates many cute designs on stationary, bags, or anything you can think of. They have created many cartoon characters but are best known for creating Hello Kitty. Their target audience is mainly children but many adults find Hello Kitty amusing too.

I want my posters to be advertised in San-Francisco county. This is because my target audience are younger people with middle to high range income. I know that there are also a lot of Japanese stores that most likely sell Hello Kitty products so people can easily access and buy them. There are also a lot of bus shelters in San Francisco so there is a higher chance people will see all three of them. 

Brand advantages: Famous company, worldwide, everyone can enjoy

Brand attributes: Trustworthy, good reputation, 

Brand experience: Cute, happy, entertaining


 

GOALS

My goal is to advertise Sanrio’s products, and to spread the message that sharing is caring. I want people to feel happy when they see how adorable the characters are. I hope whenever they see the characters it will cheer them up and make their day.
