PROFILE/DESCRIPTIONThe Trevor Project is a nonprofit organization centered around building a safer, more inclusive world for people in the LGBTQIA+ community. It aims to decrease rates of suicide in LGBTQIA+ teens, and it offers crisis services as well as a community for peer support. It has been supported by various famous celebrities and has an active social media presence. Lots of the counseling offered by The Trevor Project is run by volunteers who are trained to help and support people.
I think San Jose, California, is a good place for the Trevor Project to advertise. San Jose is rated as the 2nd most educated city (metro area) in the US. The main Claritas groups located in San Jose all have graduate level education, as well as median incomes of usually far over $50,000 a year, which should cover San Jose’s cost of living, allowing people to donate. Furthermore, San Jose has a history of fighting for queer rights, and Silicon Valley has a similar history. The high income of San Jose provides opportunity for residents to donate because they have the available income, and more people are likely to be accepting because of the younger age range and higher education.

(The concept was slightly edited in the process of making posters)
The idea of these posters is to normalize queer love and show support for different sexual and gender identities. The goal is for queer people to feel accepted and for straight and cisgender people to have more exposure to queer love and normalization of it, as well as everybody being inspired to donate because of an informational caption present on the poster. People should learn something from the ads, so statistic about suicide or homelessness related to LGBTQIA+ teens would be present on the poster.
