PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

Daiso is a company from Japan. As of now, Daiso has 3,620 stores in Japan and over 2,272 stores worldwide in 24 countries and regions. Daiso is a Japanese variety and value store that offers products made to enhance your lifestyle. Daiso prides itself for their variety of quality products, including but not limited to stationery, kitchen, cosmetics, home goods, etc. They also sell traditional Japanese items such as origami paper. My intended audience is teens and adults who want to bring origami paper on the go with them to do anywhere, anytime. 

Improve the design of Daiso origami paper packaging to make it more convenient and easy to use. This includes:

  • Replacing plastic with thick paper
  • Making a easier opening
  • Making the product information into a sticker to stick on the paper box
  • Getting rid of the sticky part
  • Being able to feel the texture of the paper

GOALS

Creating a design that interrupts the shopper/consumer to purchase and trial. Create a packaging that is cute and easy to use. It will also be more eco friendly because it is made of paper.
