Dirty Filthy Slaps is an electronic music blog that promotes upcoming artists, keeps people updated on upcoming events and news, and features the best tracks, mixtapes, and mashups of the electronic genre. Our goal is to not only be a great music blog and share amazing music, but also to become a major electronic music/news resource, and to provide a place for upcoming and talented artists to promote their work. GOALS

Dirty Filthy Slaps is a professional blog, so I wanted to keep this logo simple and elegant. The outlining circle along with the evenly spaced stripes gives the logo a sort of simple and basic feel, but the cursive text gives it the elegant effect we were looking for. While we wanted to keep our logo simple, electronic music is usually associated with a lot of energy and bright colors, so we decided to make the stripes neon yellow, green, and pink, which are all common colors at electronic music events.
