-Los Angeles District Attorney Says He Is Reviewing Menendez Case
Interest in the Menendez Brothers has intensified after the release of the new Netflix drama about the case. A separate documentary is forthcoming.
Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón is reviewing the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, who were convicted of killing their parents in 1989, due to new evidence and renewed public interest from recent TV shows. The brothers' lawyers want a reduced sentence, citing claims of abuse by their father, but the case remains controversial.
