PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

For this assignment, something in current events was to be depicted by making a clipping mask out of a shape and photograph.

GOALS

The image is of the ESPN logo containing a photograph of professional gamers. Recently, ESPN has started featuring esports news for games such as League of Legends and Starcraft 2, adding fire to the controversy surrounding esports and whether they are "sports" in the traditional sense, similar to basketball, football, etc. The photograph I chose shows the professional gamers in a positive light to represent how the act of ESPN embracing esports will lead to a future where esports is considered no different from traditional sports.
