PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

Google maps is a company that helps you get to where you need to be, Get to where you want to be, and get to where you didn't know you needed to be. It services as a navigation to for many as well as a place where people look for new places they want to go. Google maps has street view coverage in the entire east bay, making it easy for people to easily get directions and otherwise indulge in. I want my ad campaign to focus on a specific group of people that are interested in going to new places or at least using google maps. My design will be made in order to appeal to all kinds of different people in the East Bay, mostly consisting of people that live in urban areas looking for some cool getaway day trips. The slogan of the campaign is going to be ‘adventure awaits’ and each poster will feature a separate location in the East Bay. Each poster will feature a different landmark located in the east bay, that perhaps not everyone has heard of or been to, reinforcing the need for a user to have to use google maps to get to said place.

GOALS

After seeing this poster I want people to have a deeper urge to go out and explore the world. I want them to want to escape from their everyday life and go on an adventure. And, hopefully, they will use google maps to do that.
