PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

The goal of this project was to create a flyer for a company of your choice. On your flyer you should incorporate company info and a photo and use colors, typeface and shapes to enhance your photo.

GOALS

La Note is a restaurant in Berkeley specializing in breakfast and lunch. I chose the typeface because I thought it was easy to read and not too fancy or frilly. Also the picture could come across has hectic or overwhelming and the simple typeface served to balance that out. I chose the coral background color from the grapefruits in the photo and the soft yellow of the business info from the plate. I thought that these two colors together were soft and relaxing, similar to the vibes of the restaurant and the pinky, orangey, yellowy colors could be related to a sunrise and therefore connect to breakfast. I made the company name bright white to really make it pop against the coral background since many colors tended to blend in with that particular coral color.
