PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

Company statement: Welcome to Jo’s Sushi Tavern! We are a Japanese-American family who have lived in the bay area the past ten years, and we are excited to make this huge step to starting our restaurant! My family and I have always loved the taste of Sushi, and we are very proud of making this huge leap and creating our business! We hope to connect with all sorts of people, whether it’s foodies, passionate eaters, or even people who are not very excited about food in general, we hope to make them smile with our food. We are not just serving sushi however. We plan on serving many curry's, such as Chicken Katsu curry, Beef curry, and Omelette curry. We will also be selling Ramen, and Beef noodle soup. However Sushi will be our primary focus. We hope in a couple years to open up at least three more stores around the bay area, and be a go-to meal for many different kinds of customers. We will also have a small bar attached to the restaurant for those who just want to come and have a nice cold beer or perhaps a warm Sake. Our starting store will be in San Francisco, a big city, which is a good start for a small store. We want to be a respectable store as well. We'll be hiring people we are confident won't be a problem for our business down the road, and we want to learn from problems our customers have, so we can improve our business.

GOALS

We want to create a design that’s simple but still stands out. Whenever someone sees this symbol, we want them to not think “Sushi,” but to think of Jo's Sushi Tavern. We want them to think about us, not just the food, and to feel happy, whenever they think or see the logo. We also want them to recognize the shape of the sushi, and since it’s less common, we would hope that they’d recognize it, and remember who we are.

Brand Advantages: More Sushi for a cheaper price, bigger variety, many connections.

Brand Attributes: Good service, trustworthy, family owned, organized, reliable, hospitable atmosphere, quality over quantity.

Brand Experience: Friendly, respectful, civil, appealing, wholesome.
