Kahakai Surf Co. is a beginners surf shop located on the shore of Wailea, Maui. They sell both beginner friendly and advanced surfboards, as well as lessons to people of all ages. Their main consumers are kids wanting to learn how to surf, but get plenty of business from locals throughout the island. It once started out as a small family-friend owned surf shop, and has now expanded to countless families and friends throughout the island. Their main goal is to spread the hobby and love of surfing to kids that are willing to learn and put in the effort. In Hawaiian, ‘Kahakai’ means shoreline or seashore, which is where their surf shop is located
