PROFILE/DESCRIPTIONThe company that I am making advertisements for is Ikea. Ikea is a worldwide company that sells a massive variety of affordable and easy-to-assemble furniture. I will be advertising Ikea's most important values: ease and affordability. The mission of the company is to provide people with an easy way to find, purchase, and set up furniture. The in-store workplace is designed to help people find what they are looking for, and the website and delivery services are incredibly easy for people who already know what they want. The target location will be southern California because it has a very high concentration of “Midscale Younger Mostly w/o Kids,'' according to Claritas. The reason for this is that the majority of this group are renters, which is a target audience for Ikea because they tend to seek affordable furniture due to their non-permanent housing. Also, renters and bus-takers are groups with a large overlap of people, meaning that this would be a good ad for a bus shelter.

When people see the advertisements I want them to think about their furniture and what they might need. They might see the ad, then over the course of the day they might think about and consider buying new furniture. If they do, Ikea will hopefully be a strong consideration to the advertised attributes aligning with the recipients current needs.
