GOALSThe organization my posters will be for is the National Domestic Violence Hotline, which is an organization that helps people suffering from domestic violence by having phone numbers victims of abuse can call to talk to counselors. The posters should show viewers some warning signs of domestic abuse, the phone number where they can get help, and also be relatively subtle in order for it to be safe for victims of abuse to notice the poster and look at it long enough to get the information they need without their abuser noticing. These posters should also avoid the assumption that only women are abused, since domestic violence has the potential to affect all people. After seeing these posters, I want viewers to think about the relationships in their lives and check if they are healthy, think of friends or family that may be victims of domestic violence and show them the advertisement, or seek help for themselves if they think they may be a victim.
