GOALS

Piedmont Highlander

The Piedmont Highlander is the Piedmont High School Official Newspaper. The newspaper is free for all students, and designed to spread only throughout the school environment. One of the main goals for the paper is to spread awareness about important stories across the spectrum of different grades and friend groups. They write articles about the different aspects of life at Piedmont High. Some of these aspects include sports, clubs, teacher experiences, arts, classes, events, and any other topics that are important to Piedmont life. The values of the editing team are connection, kindness, and unity.

Design goals: To look intriguing to a High School audience, to be easily identifiable, and to stand out as the only newspaper for Piedmont. The logo should make kids want to read the articles, and share the articles around the school. Last, but not least, to make the newspaper look respectable and make people want to join the editing team.
