GOALS

The goal of this project is to redesign ineffective packaging that poorly represents or illustrates the product. In this case, the Raisin Bran Crunch box design fails to appeal to older audiences, so giving it a cleaner, more “mature” look will help the product stand out to adults. We also want the box to keep its appeal to younger audiences, maintaining the fun and energetic theme.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The target audience for Raisin Bran Crunch has typically been kids ages 6-14 and their respective parents. RBC has never has a very adult-friendly design, using color schemes that catch a child's attention (blue, purple, yellow). Creating a more consistent color scheme will catch the attention of consumers, especially placed next to the crazy, outgoing designs of our competitors. We believe a cleaner look will appear as healthier and more applicable to the adult audience.
