PROFILE/DESCRIPTIONThe company that I will be representing is Sexy Hair Concepts, which produces a line of hair care products for all hair types. The company is a real life company. The evident purpose of this company’s hair care line is to infuse confidence into their products and to give their products a daring and bold face. I will be creating an ad campaign for one of their products, BigSexyHair, which is a type of hairspray. The ideal location for this ad to be displayed is around shopping areas, i.e. mall complexes and strip malls. These locations would most likely be located in the city, where there are many people constantly shifting through the streets. The target audience is women, but mainly the younger generation (late teens and 20’s), who are the main consumer’s of haircare products, and are most likely to succumb to the appeal of the ad.
GOALSThe ad campaign will attempt to appeal to women in their late teens and 20’s. The Big Sexy Hair hairpsray ad campaign will aim to entice women who are interested in fashion and the appeal of hair presentation. The ad campaign will infuse the image of the hairpsray having a bold and confident connotation to convince the target audience that this product is for strong women who aren’t afraid of displaying their hair to a creative extent. I would also like this ad campaign to have an artistic element to it, to convey that even haircare has a creative approach.
