PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

This is a poster for the BBC series Sherlock. It is promoting the fourth series and has a picture of the villain, Moriarty.

GOALS

I wanted to use colors that made the poster look serious and foreboding. The word "sherlock" had to be brighter than Moriarty's white shirt so that the font stood out and was readable. I used the lighter color of his suit for the "Series Four" type to connect it to the image. The gray background at the bottom couldn't stand out but had to add to the ominous feel of the picture.
