PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

​Update shrimp chip packaging to appeal to a western audience. Stay a little farther away from the shrimp aspect. Make it seem like a product americans would buy rather than something they consider disgusting. 

GOALS

​Goal is to create a design that Americans see as an american food not as a asian food they wouldn’t want. Focus on the flavor of shrimp with a photo of very seasoned shrimp photo, create an americanized food.

PRIORITIES

​Prioritize flavor because we want people to think it looks good and tasty rather than think about what it is because if they see shrimp chips before how good it looks they don't want it. Also brand isn't as important as the packaging will be very different from other designs. 

TARGET AUDIENCE

​Want to attract new customers and get into a new market. Want shrimp chips to be seen like lays or doritos and make customers want them as a common thing. Young people are the target audience because they are usually the most ready to try new things like shrimp chips. Also young people tend to buy more unhealthy snacks. 

BRAND CHARACTER

​Want to be seen as a healthier snack but still tasty. People should think of it as something they would normally buy, not a weird snack you try once. 

COMPETITIVE SITUATION

​A couple brands of shrimp chips but not many availble in America. All have very asian packaging. Lays is a big competitor as a chip company and itll be hard to compete.
