PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

This poster encourages people to overcome their shyness about meeting new people, by "getting a pair". The character hiding in the sock represents a boy who is too scared to approach a girl at a dance (disco ball). The biggest text on the page simply reads Get A Pair, as to make the message simple and clear. It also plays off the idea of using socks. At the bottom left of the page in small letters is the slogan "It's not about the socks" to tie it back into the original idea of the project.

GOALS

-To simply communicate the message that people should be courageous when it comes to approaching new friends or love interests. -To cause the viewer to question the roll of socks in graphic design. -For the poster to be funny because of the play on words to do with socks. (pair)
