PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

Part 1: Sour Patch Kids is a soft gummy candy with a coating of sour sugar. Sour Patch Kids is currently owned by Mondelēz International, Inc. Mondelēz operates in about 160 counties but it's mainly based in Chicago, Illinois. Sour Patch Kids has different flavors such as Redberry, Blue Raspberry, Pink Strawberry, Lemon, Orange, Lime, Grape, and White Pineapple. It also has some other products such as the Easter and Christmas ones. Currently, on their websites, they are selling merchandise as well, this includes hats, socks, shirts, sandals, candles, etc. They have two main slogans which are, “Sour Then Sweet” and “Sour. Sweet. Gone.'' According to Wikipedia, this may refer to the taste that you might experience when eating their products.

Part 2: Location: San Bernardino County, CA.

The main thing I wanted to look for was a place that had a lot of kids, this is because the main target audience for candies is usually kids. Some of the traits that came up when searching for 91708, were “Country Squires”, “White PIcket Fences”, “Small-Town Collegiates”, “Kid Country, USA”, and “Big Fish, Small Pond”. Something common within all of these things was that most of them had kids. Also in the “Lifestyle & Media Traits” for the “White Picket Fences” section, it says, “Visits Chicago.” Seems pretty interesting to include this county due to the fact that Sour Patch Kid is mainly located in Chicago.

Part 3: Just as with your brandmark project, I want you to add some single-word

Brand advantages: experienced (1985), memorable, unique shapes

Brand attributes: delicious, fun-loving, variety

Brand experience: “Sour then Sweet”

GOALS

The poster will hopefully get kids to ask their parents to buy some Sour Patch. Also, remind them of the taste.
