PROFILE/DESCRIPTION

The purpose was to design a symbol in which was used repetitively in order to design a graphic for a News Magazine Article. The news article in which this design is for is called "How Bay Area do You Speak?" This article is about how people from the Bay Area speak compared to other areas in California.

GOALS

I wanted to have a comic book feel, because in comic books there are often words that are uncommon. For example words that are out of the ordinary or "outta pocket".
